"He is not here; He has risen! Remember how He told you when He was still with you in Galilee." Luke 24:6

I hope everyone enjoys the time off next week that they have scheduled. St. Therese will be in session for Wednesday, April 4, Thursday, April 5 and Friday April 6. There will be no school on Monday, April 2 and Tuesday, April 3. This is something we had to do to ensure that St. Therese School met the 180 school day requirement. A revised calendar is on the Friday Folder. I realize that some families have scheduled trips and vacation time planned as we were originally scheduled to be off for Easter Week.  For those of you who will not be with us next week, we pray that you will be safe wherever you may be travelling to.

Due to the number of snow days in March we have extended the end of the marking period by one week. The end of the marking period was scheduled for Friday, April 13, but it will now be extended until Friday, April 20.

Please see the Friday Folder for information on the Project Graduation Clothing Drive and the St. Therese School Mother's Day Plant Sale.

Since I have arrived at St. Therese I have been working to improve our Security Plan. Please know that I have made changes to the way we do things and have modified the Security Crisis Plan. It has been submitted to the diocese for approval. The changes that we have made come from recommendations that I sought out from the Roxbury Police, the NJ State Police, the NJ Department of Education, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office and the Diocese of Paterson. I will continue to work on improvements in this area to ensure the safety of all of the students at St. therese School.

Another project I have been working on is providing our students with a quality lunch program. Our current lunch provider who did an excellent job of providing our students with a quality lunch will no longer be able to work for St. Therese so I have been exploring a company that a number of other Catholic Schools in our area use. The company I am looking at has been given good reviews, so for the remainder of the year a company called Simply Gourmet will provide our lunches. They are a full service catering company located in Randolph, NJ that specializes in school lunch programs, snack programs and summer camp programs. If you would like more information you can go to their website at www.simplygourmetlunches.com.

Finally, let me take this opportunity to wish everyone in the St. Therese School Family a Very Happy Easter. May the peace of Christ be with you all. Go now and spread the Good News; He has risen!
